What inspired you to become a Cosmetic Nurse?
Cosmetic nursing has become my passion as I have witnessed the positive impact that aesthetic procedures can have on my clients’ confidence and well-being. I find great satisfaction in helping my clients to feel their best and regain a sense of self assurance through cosmetic interventions.
What was the most challenging part of your training?
The most challenging part of my training was mastering the balance between precision and artistry in cosmetic procedures. It requires a lot of practice and observation to understand and navigate the intricacies of facial anatomy, understanding diverse aesthetic preferences while ensuring patient safety. It was a learning curve, but overcoming this challenge has made me more confident in delivering results that align with each client’s individual needs.
What is your approach to cosmetic injectables?
My approach to cosmetic injectables is centred around a personalised and natural enhancement. I prioritise open communication with clients to understand their goals and concerns. Through careful assessment, I tailor injectable treatments to complement their natural features, aiming for subtle, yet impactful results.
When you’re getting treatments, what kind of client are you?
When I’m in the client’s chair, I transform into an “Explorer”, ready for a journey for beauty and rejuvenation! I approach skin and injectable treatments with excitement of going through the whole process, tracking my journey, and embracing the refreshed and vibrant results, so I can share with my clients.
What do you love the most about being a Cosmetic Nurse?
What I love the most about being a cosmetic nurse is the joy and satisfaction of witnessing the positive impact on my client’s confidence and well-being. It’s incredibly rewarding to play a role in enhancing someone’s natural beauty and helping them feel more comfortable in their own skin.
What is your favourite injectable concern to treat and why?
My favourite injectable concern is volume loss of the face. I find it particularly rewarding because addressing this concern allows me to restore youthful contours and enhance natural features. It’s not just about smoothing lines; it’s about sculpting and rejuvenating, resulting in a refreshed and harmonious appearance. The joy of helping clients regain a more vibrant and lifted look is what makes treating volume loss my favourite aspect of injectable procedures.
What treatments have you had this year? How can we get skin just like yours?
I have had a combination of anti-wrinkle treatments and a dedicated skincare routine. I’ve incorporated regular anti-wrinkle treatments to address and prevent dynamic lines and opted for active ingredient skincare to nourish and protect my skin. Additionally, monthly Hydrafacials have been a key component, providing deep hydration and a refreshing glow. Consistency in these treatments has contributed to the overall health and vitality of my skin.
What is your favourite thing to do outside of work?
Outside of work, my favourite activities include attending reformer pilates classes and exploring new restaurants! Engaging in reformer pilates not only keeps me physically active but also provides a mindful and rejuvenating experience. On the other hand, exploring restaurants allows me to indulge my passion for food.
What is your favourite part of working at Youth Lab?
My favourite part of working at Youth Lab is the opportunity to contribute to the transformative journeys of our clients and being part of a team that is dedicated to enhancing natural beauty and boosting confidence. Surrounded by beautiful people, the collaborative and positive spirit within the clinic fosters a commitment to staying at the forefront of aesthetic advancements and providing the best services for our clients.
What treatment do you see becoming popular in 2024?
In 2024, I anticipate bio stimulators to gain popularity as a leading treatment. It aligns with the glowing trend of clients seeking a more natural approach to facial enhancements, steering away from overfilling. Bio stimulators have potential to be in high demand due to their ability to subtly and gradually enhance facial volume, addressing signs of ageing. Clients are likely to appreciate its natural looking results and long-lasting effects.
What is the one piece of skin advice you wish all of your clients would follow?
One crucial piece of skin advice I wish all of my clients would follow is consistently using sunscreen with SPF50! It’s a simple yet powerful step that not only protects the skin from harmful UV rays but also plays an important role in preventing premature ageing and maintaining a healthy complexion. Sunscreen is a daily essential for preserving the skin’s youthfulness and promoting long term skin health.
