2017 Treatment Trends
2017 is the year of non-invasive and non-surgical treatments. I am so excited to introduce more of these treatments to the clinic and offer my patients a wide range of non-surgical solutions for facial contouring, anti-ageing and facial rejuvenation.
Here are 5 of my predicted treatment trends for 2017 which I anticipate will change the lives of many of my patients.

SILHOUETTE SOFT THREAD LIFT
Thread lifting is an incredible procedure producing results similar to that of a mini-facelift without the surgery or down time.
The Silhouette Soft thread lift is a non-surgical facelift which uses small sutures inserted into the skin in specific areas to lift and elevate, resulting in an immediate lift. It also works to stimulate your own collagen production which results in volumization of the face and neck.
Thread lifting is a wonderful alternative to surgical procedures and is suitable for those with noticeable sagging of the skin, especially along the neck and jawline. Combined with dermal fillers to help with volume restoration and contouring this treatment can make you look 10 years younger after the first treatment.
Results of the Silhouette Soft thread lift are expected to last up to 18 months.

PRP
PRP is a natural rejuvenation treatment popular amongst celebrities and is revolutionising the aesthetics and anti-ageing world. The Angle PRP treatment uses your own platelet rich plasma which is then injected into the skin to stimulate collagen, elastin, and promote cell healing and renewal.
By stimulating the skins own stem cells this treatment results in skin that defies the tests of time. The ageing process is slowed down and patients report glowing, vibrant and refreshed skin.
The PRP is derived through a system called the PRP Angel which takes a person’s own blood and extracts the concentrated platelets which contain precious growth factors and stem cells. The end result is softening of fine lines and wrinkles, improved skin tone and elasticity and a new and improved complexion and skin texture.
Results become evident at 8 weeks and can last up to 2 years
LIQUID FACELIFT
Volume loss occurs as we age and from the young age of around 26 we see the beginnings of the process of fat loss, subcutaneous fat loss and changes in bone structure.
The result is a loss of contour to the cheeks and the appearance of flattening to the face. Following this jowl formation, loss of jawline structure, smile lines and increased skin laxity can result in a tired look.
The liquid facelift is a non-surgical and non-invasive miracle treatment. It is performed by using dermal fillers (minimum of 2ml) to replace lost volume, add structure and support to the skin and contour the face to restore lost looks.
Through the strategic placement of the dermal filler customised to each individual patient the result is a total face rejuvenation with volume restoration.
Results are instantaneous and can last up to 18 months. Regular review and top up treatments may be required.

DOUBLE CHIN FAT DISSOLVING
We are so excited about the arrival of the new fat dissolving injection. This incredible new treatment has just been launched and we will be introducing it in the coming weeks. It is used to permanently remove fat from under the chin.
The treatment contains an acid which is a natural acid found within our body which works to breakdown and absorb fat in food. When injected, this product destroys fat cells and dissolved them resulting in a total reduction of fatty tissue. A few treatments may be required but once the ideal result had been obtain no further treatments are needed.
The procedure is a series of tiny needles injected under the chin to the stubborn fat deposits (which are often resistant to diet and exercise). The treatment is relatively pain free and similar to other injectable procedures.
This is a revolution in fat destruction and a low risk and effective alternative to liposuction with the added bonus of skin tightening as a result of the multiple injections.

JAWLINE SLIMMING
Using anti-wrinkle injections is not limited to the relaxation of facial lines and wrinkles. The use of anti-wrinkle injections into the large masseter muscles of the jawline can work miracles.
Hypertrophic and enlarged masseter muscles can be a result of genetics or from habitual teeth grinding or clenching (bruxism). As a result the jawline can become square and often asymmetrical. By relaxing these muscles we can see a slimming of the lower jaw and the transformation of the face into a desirable heart shape.
The treatment can transform a square and more masculine jawline into more proportioned and slim jaw in the matter of weeks. This treatment combined with dermal fillers to contour the jawline and chin can give beautiful results.
Patients also report an improvement in their mood, decreased headaches and jaw pain, and a reduction in dental problems from excessive grinding.
